Welcome to the Thomson Farmers Market blog! Our grand opening date is April 24, 2010 during the Classic Car Show on Main Street and we would love to see you there! Anyone interested in being a vendor at the Market, please feel free to contact us via email link and we will respond to you immediately. Our goal is to provide a place for the citizens of Thomson and surrounding communities to support our local farmers. In addition, funds raised from the Farmers Market will be put back into our community to help fund food-based programs. We hope to start a backpack program with the area schools, assist with the food bank and soup kitchen, and host community meals and food awareness events. Your support will go a long way in helping us do this!
The Basic Info:
What: Fresh produce, flowers, crafts, homemade foods, free kids activities!
When: Opening Date April 24, 2010 9am-12pm, then each 2nd and 4th Saturday after that until November.
Where: First Avenue, downtown Thomson, near the train tracks and Uncle Junk's. Plenty of Parking Available!
